The New Hope Story

From a small music ministry to a transformative technical training center

New Hope Training

Founded in Faith, Built for Community

New Hope Training Centre for All (NHTCA) began in 2021 as a small music ministry group with a big vision. Founded by Blessings Edward Kwenda (BEK), what started as weekly choir practices quickly revealed a deeper need in the community.

Many young people and vulnerable adults in Area 24, Lilongwe, lacked access to skills that could provide sustainable income. The ministry expanded its vision to include technical training, opening its first workshop in 2022 with just 15 students.

Today, NHTCA has trained over 2,500 individuals across 8 core trades, with workshops equipped to industry standards and a growing network of community partners and sponsors.
